Some time ago I granted google photos the acces to my phone's default gallery and really regret that decision at this point, since whenever I delete a pic or video from gallery to save space on my device (note that I still have plenty of space available in google photos but my phone has less space!), it's backup copy is also deleted from google photos which makes the whole of having a backup ...

Facebook Stories doesn't like some AI Enhanced pics I have a few photos I've shot on a Pixel 10 and edited with Google Photos (version 7.55.0.835314738) that, when uploaded to Instagram Stories, show up as black. Photos that I did not use the feature upload and display fine.
